Warwick is a town in central England. Though inhabited since the Neolithic era, the town was founded by Ethelfleda in 914 as a royal burh. William the Conqueror built Warwick Castle here in 1068, greatly adding to the area's significance and power.

Today, Warwick is primarily known as the location of Warwick Castle.
