Warsaw in People's Lives
Lottie Deno: I was born here in 1844, the daughter of a wealthy racehorse breeder. My father, also a hopeless gambler, taught me about cards and traveled through the south with me, teaching me how to win in card games at the most luxurious of casinos. Around 1862, my father died in the Civil War, and I was sent to Detroit to find a suitable husband.
Viggo Mortensen: I traveled here to film scenes of the movie Fresh Horses in 1987.
