Sudbury in People's Lives

Margaret Atwood: I traveled here in 2009, having chosen this city as the location for my 70th birthday gala. The party was at Laurentian University. My reason for choosing this city as the location was its encouraging environmentalism, and in my speech I praised the city, calling it "a symbol of hope."

Tatiana Maslany: I traveled here in 2012 to film scenes of the movie Cas & Dylan.
