Solola is a town in Guatemala, located in a mountain region on Lake Atitlan.

It was founded around 1300 as T'zolojy'a, a Mayan city, until it was taken over by Spanish conquistadors in 1524. They founded a new city in 1547, now the town's official founding date.

Today, it is known for its large and colorful market, beautiful lake, mountains, and architecture.
