SVA East 23rd
The School of Visual Arts is an arts and design school located in Manhattan in downtown New York.

It was founded in 1947 as the "Cartoonists and Illustrators School," and began with only three teachers and 35 students, most of whom were veterans of World War II. The school was renamed in 1956, and began to offer degrees in 1972.
