Rainy winter afternoon
Saronno is a town in the region of Lombardy in northwestern Italy. 

Though the date of its origin is unknown, the oldest church in Saronno dates back to at least the 11th Century.

Today, Saronno is known for its churches, ceramics museum, and signature dish of amaretti - apricot kernel biscuits.
