Rovereto in People's Lives

Napoleon Bonaparte: I won the Battle of Rovereto here, defeating the Austrian generals Paul Davidovich and Dagobert Sigmund von Wurmser and their army in a crushing victory. After realizing that they were outnumbered and suffering great losses, the Austrian army began to retreat. I surrounded them and forced them to retreat into the walls of Mantua, which was currently under a long and intense siege. Once there, they were trapped, and I knew that it was only a matter of time before Mantua would be mine.
