Ronchamp is a small town in the department of Haute-Saone in eastern France, close to the borders of Switzerland and Germany.

It was founded in the mid 18th Century as a busy mining town.

Today, it is best known as the location of the Notre Dame de Haut, an atypical chapel with a modern design.
