Richard Nixon
Richard Nixon was the President of the United States from 1969 - 1974. He is the only U.S. President in history to resign from office, following the Watergate Scandal. He was known for his strong stance against Communism, for ending American involvement in the Vietnam War, for presiding over the Apollo 11 moon landing, and for doing much philanthropic work after his presidency.
