Redlands is a town in San Bernardino County in southern California, located 10 miles east of the city of San Bernardino.
Originally inhabited by the Cahuilla Native American Indians, the area was explored by Spanish conquistadors in the 1770's. A mission town was established here in 1810, though the town itself started in 1851 as a Mormon community.
Today, Redlands is known for its wealthy inhabitants, luxurious mansions, tall palm trees, and natural beauty.
