Plainfield is a town in northeastern New Jersey. It is sometimes referred to by its nickname, "the Queen City."
It was established in 1684 by Quaker settlers, but was only officially incorporated as a town in 1869.
Today, Plainfield is known for its music influence, education, and houses - many of which are historic or unique in design and structure.
