Penetanguishene in People's Lives

John Graves Simcoe: I came to the land here in 1793, being the second European to ever set foot in the area. I believed that, due to its location on the bay and lake, this would make an excellent naval base, and began putting forth this suggestion. My belief came to pass in 1817.

Sarah Gadon: I traveled here in 2009 to film scenes of the TV show Happy Town.
