Pancevo is a city in Serbia, on the banks of the Danube and Tamis Rivers.

It has been inhabited since approximately the 8th Century BC, and was first mentioned in history in 1153 as a mercantile harbor.

Today, it is best known for being the location of one of the region's oldest monasteries, industrial commerce, and architecture.
