Norwich is a town in eastern Connecticut, at the meeting of four rivers: the Yantic, Shetucket, Quinebaug, and Thames.

Originally, the land belonged to the Mohegan Native American Indians, but it was purchased by a group of settlers. The town was founded in 1658.

Today, Norwich is known for its downtown row of quaint shops, manufacturing history, and large forested park.
