Newmarket is a town in the province of Ontario in southeastern Canada, just north of Toronto. It is often ranked among Canada's "Top 10 Small Cities."

John Graves Simcoe first explored this area in 1793, and the town was founded in 1801 by a group of New England Quakers seeking a suitable location for a quiet Quaker community.

Today, Newmarket is known for its quality of life and friendly atmosphere, as well as a handful of historic attractions.
