Neufchateau is a small town in the department of Lorraine in northeastern France. It was originally a Roman market town on the Pretorian road known as Noviomagus, established around the 2nd Century. It is one of the oldest towns in the area of Lorraine.
Today, the town is known for its lush countryside beauty, surrounding forests, and historic buildings.
