It was founded in the 6th Century BC as a Greek colony. It has been ruled by the Grimaldi family since 1297.
Today, Monaco is known as one of the wealthiest, most luxurious and exclusively elite locations in the world. It is known for its ostentation, casino, architecture, royal history, hotels, and mansions.

Adelaide Kane: I traveled to this beautiful city in June of 2014, to attend a gala at the Grimaldi Forum, to which I wore a stunning black dress. I also went on a luxurious boat ride along the coast of the city, sipping champagne.
