Vista Magdeburg
Madgeburg is a city in the state of Saxony-Anhalt in north-central Germany, located on the Elbe River.

It was founded by Charlemagne in 805, and afterward rose to become one of the most important cities of medieval Germany. 

Today, Madgeburg is known for its cathedral, riverfront, universities, industrial economy, engineering, and flooding.
