London is a city in southern Canada in the state of Ontario. Many of its streets, areas and geographical aspects are named after places in London, England, such as the Thames River and Canary Wharf.
It was founded in 1793 by John Graves Simcoe, and was intended to be the Canadian capitol, but it was decided that the thick surrounding forests were too difficult to navigate.
