Main Street in Lee
Lee is a town in western Massachusetts, located 10 miles south of Pittsfield in a valley along the Houstatonic River.

The land was originally inhabited by the Mahican Native Americans. The first European settlement was established in 1760, then named "Dodgetown." It was officially incorporated in 1777, and named in honor of Revolutionary War general Charles Lee.

Today, Lee is known for its small New England town charm, bed and breakfasts, local companies, downtown area, and historic mills and buildings.
