Lacock Abbey
Lacock is a small town in the county of Wiltshire in southern England. The place of historic buildings such as Lacock Abbey, the entire town is owned by the National Trust.

The town was first mentioned in history in 1086, and grew to further size after the foundation of Lacock Abbey in 1232.

Today, Lacock is known for its history, its abbey, charming cottages and downtown shops, its annual scarecrow festival, and for frequently being used as a filming location for movies and TV series.

Natalie PortmanI traveled here in 2007 to film scenes of the movie The Other Boleyn Girl. We filmed on location at Lacock Abbey, using it as one of our sets for Whitehall Palace.
