Joseph Stalin
Joseph Stalin was the leader and dictator of the Soviet Union from 1922 until his death in 1953. He was a major figure of World War II and a non-agressive ally of Adolf Hitler, though initially, he had attempted to organize anti-Hitler pacts with other European leaders. Today, his image is widely controversial. He was named the 18th Most Significant Figure in History by Times Magazine in 2013.
