John Quincy Adams
John Quincy Adams was the sixth President of the United States, from 1825 - 1829. He was the son of 2nd President John Adams. In addition to his Presidential term, he was also a Senator, member of the House of Representatives, and a diplomat. He is known as one of the greatest diplomats in United States history. He is known today for taking up both Democratic and Republican stances, largely paying off the national debt, modernizing the economy, promoting education, opposing slavery, and predicting the Civil War.
