Innsbruck - postcard
Innsbruck is a city in Austria located in the Inn Valley.

Though the area has been inhabited since the early Stone Age, Innsbruck originated as a Roman settlement called Veldidena in the 4th Century.

Today, Innsbruck is known for its geographical beauty, located on the Sill River and surrounded by mountains, and for its winter sporting events.
