Ichinoseki is a city in central-northern Japan.

The area has been continuously inhabited since about 30,000 BC in the Paleolithic Era. The modern-day city was officially established in 1948.

Today, it is known for its surrounding forests and parks, walking and hiking trails, and diversity of inhabitants - including a large population of Brazilian, Chinese, and Filipino inhabitants.
