Henrietta of England was the youngest child of Charles I of England. After her father's execution, she was forced to flee England at the age of three, taking refuge in France. She later married the brother of King Louis XIV, and was active in political circles involving relations between England and France. Jacobite claims to the British throne descend directly from her.
