Hanover is a town in southern Pennsylvania, located 54 miles northwest of Baltimore, Maryland. Though in Pennsylvania, it is surprisingly only 5 miles north of the Mason-Dixon Line.

The town was settled in 1730 by a group of Catholic settlers, then known as "Conwego." It was renamed, after Hanover, Germany, in 1745 and made an official town in 1815.

Today, Hanover is known for its downtown area, Sentry sculpture, and historic buildings.
