Beautiful Hanalei Pier at sunrise
Hanalei is a tiny village on the island of Kauai in Hawaii, with an approximate population of 500, not including tourists. The name means "crescant bay."

The area was occupied by Russian settlers and soldiers in the early 19th Century. Today, Hanalei is known for its secluded Hawaiian location, beaches, pier, resorts, and beauty.
