Granger is a small town in central Texas, located 36 miles northeast of Austin and close to the Granger Lake.

It was founded in the late 1800's by Moravian Czech immigrants, and became a center from Czech settlers.

Today, the town is known for its involvement in the horror movie Texas Chainsaw Massacre, as well as for its abandoned or falling-apart buildings.
