Granada 3
Granada is a city in southwestern Nicaragua, the fifth most-populated city in the country. It was founded in 1524 and officially recorded as an outlying part of the Kingdom of Aragon, giving it legitimate claim to the title of being the first European city in the Americas. It is named after Granada, Spain.

Today, Granada is known for its colonial beauty, distinct European influences, and for being situated on Lake Nicaragua, and bordered by volcanoes and lagoons.
