Gdańsk poland
Gdansk, also known as Danzig, is a city on the Baltic Sea in northern Poland, the country's fourth-largest metropolitan area.

It was first mentioned in history in 999, and is thought to have first been settled around 980.

Today, Gdansk is known for its long history of hovering in and out of the Polish and German Empires, for its architecture, cathedrals, amber, and higher education.
