Frederick William IV of Prussia portrait.jpg

Frederick William IV reigned as King of Prussia from 1840 until his death in 1861. He is best remembered for his numerous architectural contributions to the country's finest cities, and his modest political practicality. Though he had the right to the title "Emperor of Germany," he refused it.
