Fernandina Beach is a town on the northeastern coastline of Florida, on Amelia Island. It is one of the most northernmost Floridian towns, and considered part of the Jacksonville metropolitan area.

The first European contact was when William Bartram visited the island in 1776. Soon afterward, a Spanish colony was established.

Today, Fernandina Beach is known as a quiet beach retreat, as well as for its maritime activities, sailing, downtown area, and sunrises.
