Erie is the 4th-largest city in Pennsylvania, located in the northwestern corner of the state. It was first settled by the French as Fort Presque Isle in 1753.

Today, Erie is known for its lake, maritime industry, history, and close proximity to other major cities Pittsburgh, New York, Cleveland, and Buffalo.
