Earlville is a small town in northern Illinois.

It was founded with the establishment of the local post office in 1844, and named after Earlville, New York, which had been the hometown of one of the settlers here.

Today, Earlville is known for its shopfronts, drive-in movie theatre, and the lack of jobs available within town limits.
