Bucks County Court House
Doylestown is a town in southeastern Pennsylvania, about 27 miles north of Philadelphia. It was first settled in 1745 when a single tavern was built on the land. During the 19th Century, a large number of churches were built in the town, and population increased.

Today, Doylestown is best known for its historic attractions, including an early American artifiacts museum, Mercer's Castle, a historic prison, The Fountain House, and a pottery and tile works factory that show techniques of German potters in the 17th and 18th Centuries.
