Donauworth is a town in the state of Bavaria in southern Germany, located at the joining of the Danube and Wornitz Rivers, halfway between Nuremberg and Munich.

It was founded as a fishing village in the Middle Ages.

Today, Donauworth is known for its architecture, scenic downtown area, and history.

Napoleon Bonaparte: After hearing that my armies had been caught in a surprise attack by the Austrians, I rushed here to offer them aid in 1809, where I found them split up and seperated, with the enemy forces in between. Using some brilliant tactics and strategy, I withdrew from the battle and lured the enemy to another area, where the fighting would go better for us.
