Comino is an island town in Malta. It is the smallest of the three Maltese islands, and located centrally between the other two. Comino is not classified as a town, much less a city, having streets or town area. The only buildings on the island are hotels, and employees commute to work. The entire population of the island is 4 inhabitants.

During the Roman Era, it was inhabited by farmers. The island was a popular locale of pirates of the Mediterranean in the Middle Ages. During the 16th and 17th Centuries, it was a place of exile for fallen knights. Throughout its interesting history, Comino has been populated, privately owned, or completely abandoned.

The island is known today for its crystal clear waters, white sand beaches, famous Blue Lagoon, maritime activities, limestone cliffs, caves, tower, tourism, and island beauty.
