Thomas Boleyn, 1st Earl of Wiltshire: I stayed here in 1503, while escorting Margaret Tudor to Scotland following her marriage. We were recieved into the town with great fanfare, and a plaque was made to be placed at the exact spot of Margaret's entrance.
