Chefchaouen, Morocco
Chefchaouen is a city in northern Morocco, located in the Rif Mountains and 67 miles south of Tangier. It is famous for the appearance of the city, which consists of blue architecture, giving the city is unique beauty.

It was founded in 1471 as a small fortress intended to defend against Portugese attacks. It was held as a part of Spanish Morocco from 1920 to 1956.

Today, Chefchaouen is known for its blue shades and colors, its colorful markets and spices, cuisine, its history, and beauty.
