Chania, in Greek Χανιά, is the second-largest city, after Heraklion, on the island of Crete in southern Greece.

It was originally the site of the ancient Minoan city Kydonia, and was later a notable city-state of Ancient Greece.

Today, Chania is known for its beauty, rich history, Cretan culture, winding narrow alleys and historic streets, markets, seaside, clear beaches, lighthouse, and Meditteranean climate.
