Cap d'Agde is a seaside resort town in southern France, located in the department of Herault on the Mediterranean Sea. It is one of the largest leisure ports in the French Mediterranean.

Though its establishment is not known, a tourism boom began here in the 1970's. Prior to that, the town existed as a small village with only a cluster of homes.

Today, Cap d'Agde is best known for its naturalist and nudist resorts and beaches, as well as for its nightlife, clubs, resorts and hotels, and as an adult vacation destination.
