Campeche, sometimes officially referred to as San Francisco de Campeche, is a city in southern Mexico. It is the capitol of the Mexican state of the same name, and is located on the shores of the Bay of Campeche and the Gulf of Mexico.

It was first established as a European settlement in 1517, and made a city in 1540, though it had formerly been the site of a Mayan establishment as well.

Campeche is known for its historical architecture, forts, and battlements, which were built to protect the city against pirate attacks, and for its seaside beauty.

Campeche in People's Lives

This advancement could be looked at as one of the key points in me becoming one of the most successful pirates in history.
