Burlington is the largest city in the state of Vermont, located 45 miles south of the Canadian border and 94 miles south of Montreal

The land was granted to settlers by Benning Wentworth, the Governor of New Hampshire, in 1763. Settlement only began in the summer of 1775, however.

Today, Burlington is known for its universities, quaint college town charm, pictaresque downtown area and pedestrian streets, proximity to Canada, and historic landmark buildings.

Grace Potter: I performed here in 2003, when I was 20 years old. It was the first time that my band and I were performing officially, and under our name, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals. Unbelievably, we opened the music festival for The Rolling Stones.
