Broadford is a small town in the state of Victoria in southeastern Australia. It has a population of just under 3400 inhabitants. It is located between Sydney and Melbourne on a creek offshoot of the Goulburn River.

It was established in 1852, shortly after gold was discovered in the area. The first building set up was a local post office, and the arrival of the railroad in 1872 greatly increased the town's prosperity.

Today, Broadford is known for its bordering mountains and natural beauty, and as a railway stop.
