Beautiful Bridgetown
Bridgetown is the capital and largest city of Barbados, located on the southwestern coastline of the island country. Locals colloquially refer to it as "the City," or "Town."

It was founded as an English colony in 1628 and was uninhabited at the time, though there are some scant traces of earlier, previous indigenous habitation.

Today, Bridgetown is known for its colorful colonial buildings, beautiful beaches, relaxed tropical atmosphere, and history.
