Bossier City in People's Lives
Jared Leto: I was born here in 1971, and raised by my mother, who had Cajun ancestry. My father was not a prominent figure in my young life, and my parents divorced when I was young. My mother remarried, and changed her children's last names to "Leto," my stepfather's surname. My biological father remarried and committed suicide when I was 8 years old, in 1979. My mother and my brothers and I lived with my maternal grandparents. As my grandfather was in the Air Force, we moved around from place to place often, and I became accustomed to a nomadic way of life from an early age. We moved to Fairfax, Virginia around 1979.
Sienna Miller: I traveled here in 2005 to film scenes of the movie Factory Girl.
