Boscastle is a small town in the county of Cornwall in southern England, on the Atlantic coastline. The victim of regular flooding, Bocastle experienced a particularly disastrous flood in 2004.

The town originated as the site of Botreaux Castle in the 1100's. It was expanded for wider commerce by Richard Grenville in 1584, to host more ships and import and export businesses.

Today, Boscastle is known for its harbor, flooding, maritime industry, and beautiful natural surrounding scenery.
