Bojnice Castle
Bojnice is a small town in central Slovakia on the Nitra River. It dates back to 1113, which is the first historical mention of the Bojnice Castle that the town grew around.

It is best known for the castle, which is the most-visited in Slovakia and one of the country's most popular tourist draws. It is also notable for its zoo - the oldest in Slovakia, as a historical spa town, and for its natural cave underneath the castle.
