Bari is the capital city of the region of Apulia in southeastern Italy, on the shores of the Adriatic Sea. It is the second-most economically important city in southern Italy after Naples

Founded in ancient times, the date of Bari's establishment is unknown, but when it was taken under Roman rule in the 3rd Century BC, it was already a well settled town.

Today, Bari is known for its port and harbor, sailing and boating, architecture, history, university, twisting and narrow streets, and beauty.
